<p>An imaging device, a control method, and a storage medium are provided to improve color reproducibility by properly controlling whether color matching is performed before or after rendering. A renderer(310) renders a PDL(Printer Description Language) document. A color management module(311) converts color information fixed in the PDL document into the color information of the imaging device capturing the PDL document. A selector determines whether conversion of the color management module is performed before or after color matching in case that alpha blend rendering is needed for the PDL document, and selects one side according to a determination result. A verification result database(312) stores a condition used to selection of the selector and a selection result. When alpha blend rendering is performed in the same condition, information stored in the verification result database is used.</p> |
