A mobile terminal and a method for analyzing sound thereof are provided to offer rearrangement information of a sound apparatus by analyzing audio signals of the sound apparatus inputted through a multistage microphone and providing sound analyzing information to a user so that the user enjoys the sound apparatus with the optimized sound. A multistage microphone(11) receives audio signals of a sound apparatus. An adder(13) adds and outputs the audio signals inputted through the multistage microphone. A comparator(15) compares an audio signal outputted from the adder with the optimum audio signal, and outputs a result of the comparison. A control unit(17) outputs sound analyzing information according to the result of the comparison. A display unit(19) displays the sound analyzing information.
