An axle for a transporter having a locking device is provided to prevent pivotal movement of the locking device between a rotary shaft and a rotary body to prevent pendulum of the axle. An axle for a transporter having a locking device includes a rotary frame(11), a lift frame(12), a lift cylinder(13), and a rotary body(14). The rotary frame is rotatably installed at a lower part of a base frame. The lift frame is coupled with one side of the rotary frame to be raised and lowered through the medium of a hinge shaft. The lift cylinder is formed between the rotary frame and the lift frame to adjust a height of the lift frame. The rotary body has a bracket(111), and a fixture(114). The bracket has a cylinder(113) having a clamp(112) formed at its tip. The fixture has an insert groove(114a) for fixing the clamp.
