A glue stopping member for a glue coating device is provided to prevent the glue from flowing over the outer periphery of a ball valve by keeping an upper splint in contact with the ball valve by pressure of a bias ring when the ball valve is worn out or damaged. In the glue coating device having a base, a seat(10), and a nozzle assembly(30), the glue stopping member installed between the base and the seat is composed of a driving member; a ball valve connected to the driving member to operate together with the glue coating device and provided with a hole formed in the center; and an upper splint(37) and a lower splint(38) installed at the periphery of the ball valve to receive the ball valve.
