Provided is a cationic electrodeposition coating composition, which exhibits a good antifoaming property, prevents an uneven drying effectively, and inhibits the foaming formation of an electrodeposition bath effectively. The cationic electrodeposition coating composition comprises a binder resin containing a cationic epoxy resin and a block isocyanate hardener, and an antifoaming agent. The antifoaming agent contains at least one polyoxyalkylene compound(A) represented by any one of the following formulae 1-3. In the formulae, Q is a reaction moiety formed by removing hydrogen atoms from t unit of primary hydroxyl groups of a non-reducing disaccharide or trisaccharide, L is a reaction moiety of isocyanate or a reaction moiety of alkyl dihalide, OA is a C2-4 oxyalkylene group, n1 to n4 each is independently an integer of 2-40, t is an integer of 2-4, m is an integer of 1-3 and is smaller than t unit, provided that the total number of OA in the molecule is 10 to 80 per one Q.
