A machine for covering package boxes is provided to preventing adhesion between edges of a sheet folded by blades by moving the blades at predetermined time intervals. A machine for covering package boxes includes two pairs of opposite coating heads(9,9'), a mold(12), and a counter mold(13). The two pairs of opposite coating heads apply edges of an adhesion sheet to outer sidewalls. The mold and the counter mold are opened by a first separation movement of rods(99) to bent the edges downward. The machine further include a device(36) for additionally separating the mold and the counter mold.
