A low-friction and reduced fiber-shed drum maintenance filter and a reclamation method are provided to reduce a missing of fiber by separating a liquid such as an oil from foreign matters collected by a drum maintenance unit and return a clean oil into a roller. In a system for reclaiming a portion of the liquid, a surface of a roller(20) applies the liquid to a support surface. A liquid penetration filter includes a front filtering surface and a rear filtering surface to which a low-friction liner surface is stuck. The liner surface is in contact with the roller surface directly and frictionally, the filter contains the liquid, collected by the support surface, at the rear filtering surface, the liquid passes through the front filtering surface and the liner surface, and the clean liquid passes through the roller surface.
