<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new proton conducting polymer film that is superior in workability, showing superior proton conductivity and durability under the condition of high temperature and non-humidification, and to provide a manufacturing method of the same and a fuel cell that uses the same. <P>SOLUTION: The proton conducting polymer film is formed, by impregnating a polymer film containing a sulfonic acid group and/or polybenzimidazole-based compound having a sulfonic acid group with vinyl phosphonic acid. It is preferable that the polybenzimidazole-based compound contain a structural element, containing a sulfonic acid group and/or phosphonic acid group expressed by structural Formula (1), wherein n denotes an integer of 1 to 4, R<SP>1</SP>denotes a tetravalent aromatic bonding unit capable of forming an imidazole ring, R<SP>2</SP>denotes a divalent aromatic bonding unit, Z denotes a sulfonic acid group and/or phosphonic acid group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
