PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an image of resolution higher than the display resolution of an image processor. SOLUTION: The image processor has an image input means of inputting an image and generating an input image 2, a positional shift detecting means 4 of detecting the positional shift of a housing of the image processor and generating a positional shift vector indicative of the direction and quantity of the positional shift, a thinning-out means 7 of generating a thinned-out display image at a specified frame rate by spatially thinning out the input image according to the positional shift vector, and an image processing means 10 of displaying the thinned-out image. The movement of the housing of the image processor is detected and the image is thinned out and displayed according to the movement and a compression rate or reduction rate to display an image with a super-resolution effect.
