摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejection apparatus capable of effectively attracting floating fine liquid without using any high voltage power supply. SOLUTION: A printer has a platen 11 to support a paper sheet 2 and a conveying roller 14 to convey the paper sheet 2. An area outside a paper sheet path in the conveying roller 14 forms a charging face 21 with a first charging member formed on a circumferential surface thereof. The charging face 21 is abutted on a charging brush consisting of a second charging member on the side opposite to an exposed top face part 21a facing a discharging area, and is charged by the rotation of the conveying roller 14. The charging face 21 attracts and collects ink mist (fine liquid) floating around the platen 11 by its electrostatic force on the top face part 21a, and ink deposited on the charging face 21 is wiped and absorbed by an absorption body 13.
