PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simultaneously analyzing reducing substances and capable of easily grasping the overall image of known or unknown reducing substances contained in test samples. SOLUTION: Liquid chromatography is used to conduct a process (a) for using a gel filter material as a stationary phase and an acid hydrous organic solvent as a mobile phase, to develop and elute the test sample which contains or can contain reducing substances; a process (b) for fractionating a column eluate; and a process (c) for measuring the reduction activity of each eluate fraction acquired in the process (b). A process (d) for performing reversed-phase liquid chromatography on each eluate fraction acquired in the process (b); a process (e) for fractionating a column eluate of reversed-phase liquid chromatography; and a process (f) for measuring the reducing activity of each eluate fraction acquired in the process (e) can also be conducted.
