PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door which can be securely attached to / detached from a door roller, and which is provided with the door roller giving consideration to safety. SOLUTION: The door roller is constituted by a rail-engagement member 2 and a sliding member 3, and a hole 14 is provided to the sliding member 3. The hole 14 consists of a large-diameter part 14b and a small-diameter part 14a which are continuous with each other, and a through hole 10 of the same diameter as the large-diameter part 14b is provided to the rail-engagement member 2. Then a flange part 22, which is smaller than the large-diameter part 14b and the through hole 10 and is larger than the small-diameter part 14a, is provided to the top end of a connecting member 19. When the sliding member 3 is on the other end side 16 of the rail-engagement member 2, the through hole 10 overlaps the small-diameter part 14a. When the sliding member 3 is on one end side 15 of the rail-engagement member 2, the through hole 10 overlaps the large-diameter part 14b. Then switching means 23, 24 are provided which switch between approval and rejection of relative movement of the sliding member 3 to the rail-engagement member 2 at the time when the sliding member 3 is on the other end side 16 of the rail-engagement member 2.
