PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion implement for an intraocular lens which is capable of injecting a viscoelastic substance while easily confirming the injection amount without damaging the distal end of an insertion cylinder. SOLUTION: The insertion implement 1 comprises a main body provided with a loading part 3 where the lens 20 for the intraocular insertion is loaded, and a push-out shaft 5 for pushing out the lens through the insertion port 4c of the main body into an eye. The main body is provided with a loading port 31a for loading the lens on the loading part and an injection port 4f for injecting the viscoelastic substance into the main body. When a direction along the longitudinal direction of the push-out shaft is defined as the axial direction of the insertion implement, in the view in the axial direction, the injection port is provided on a second surface 4b facing a direction different from the direction that a first surface provided with the loading port in the main body faces.
