<p>The method involves transmitting multimedia data e.g. image data or audio data, to a receiver e.g. mobile telephone. The multimedia data is received and an identifier is assigned to the multimedia data. The identifier contains information that is assigned to the multimedia data. The identifier is designed as alphanumeric number sequence and the identifier is transmitted together with the multimedia data. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a receiver for receiving multimedia data (2) a transmitter for transmitting multimedia data.</p> |
