The invention concerns an articulation comprising a ball (4) maintained between two seats (5 and 6) of members (1, 2) to be assembled, and further comprising clevises (7, 8) connected to the members 1, 2) respectively, linked together through an articulated intermediate ring (12). A spring (13) maintains the contact between the ball and the seats. One edge (15) of the ring retains the ball (4) in case of disconnection. The ball (4) provides for highly accurate position of the center of rotation and the rest of the articulation maintains the cohesion of the assembly.
