A vacuum cleaner is provided to easily check the condition of the dust in the dust collecting filter, and correctly judge the cleaning and replacing time by readily withdrawing the collecting filter. A vacuum cleaner(100) comprises: a body(110) having a body suction port and a fan-motor assembly; a dust collecting apparatus(120) having a main cyclone unit for separating the impurities from the air flowed inside with a cyclone method, and at least one auxiliary cyclone unit for separating the impurities from the air discharged from the main cyclone unit; a suction unit(130) having an air suction port communicated with the body suction port, wherein the outer air is sucked through the air suction port; and a filter assembly placed on the path where the air is flowed to contain a dust collecting filter(161) for separating the impurities from the air, and a filter housing(160) installed at one of the body and the dust collecting apparatus to receive the filter. The cleaner contains a filter combining unit(170) communicated with the dust collecting apparatus and an air discharge port(172).
