<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of restricting use of data installed therein by each user. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus comprises a data memory means for storing installed data by correlating it to a data identification name, a management data memory means for storing management data correlated to a user code for identifying a user capable of using the data, a user authentication means for authenticating a user who intends to use the data stored in the data memory means to identify the user code of the user, and a control means for allowing the use of the data in the case where the user code identified by the user authentication means is stored in the management data memory means by being correlated to the data identification name of the data to be used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
