<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and a pattern for misregistration correction, which allow mis-registration between toner images in respective colors to be accurately corrected at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A reference pattern 201a formed in equal intervals from "-5" to "5" scales is formed so as to extent in crossing directions of a main scanning direction as well as a sub-scanning direction, and an object pattern 201b is formed so as to cross the reference pattern 201a and extend in the main scanning direction, and an object pattern 201b' is formed so as to cross the reference pattern 201a and extend in the sub-scanning direction. A scale on the reference pattern 201a at a point Q crossing the object pattern 201b and a scale on the reference pattern 201a at a point Q' crossing the object pattern 201b' are input by an operation key 90, and a control part 67 corrects relative mis-registration of object patterns 201b and 201b' to the reference pattern 201a on the basis of input information of points Q and Q'. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
