<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption and improve durability of loads, in a high-voltage power supply device that uses a piezoelectric transformer. <P>SOLUTION: A power supply device (202) has a piezoelectric transformer for performing voltage outputting, a rectifying element for delivering the voltage outputted from the piezoelectric transformer after rectifying and smoothing it in relation to the loads, a voltage-controlled oscillator for controlling frequencies of output signals, in response to inputted control signals, a power supply voltage for supplying element for supplying power supply voltages to the piezoelectric transformer driven by output signals outputted from the voltage-controlled oscillator. The power supply device (202) inputs control signals (Vcont) and has an output-voltage interruption circuit (118) for delivering an output signal, based on the comparison between a control signal (Vcont) and a reference voltage (Vref 2). The voltage-controlled oscillator (510) interrupts a drive element (111) for driving the piezoelectric transformer 101 by the output signal delivered from the output-voltage interruption circuit (118). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
