READER DEVICE AND RADIO FREQUENCY DISCRIMINATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio frequency discrimination system which can prevent the interference by transmission waves from another reader device which uses the same channel.

SOLUTION: The radio frequency discrimination system includes: a reader device 101 for sending a signal for supplying power; and one or a plurality of tags 102 for sending a response signal including discrimination information using the reflection of the signal for supplying power. The reader device 101 includes: a spectrum diffusion portion 214 for applying the spectrum diffusion using a predetermined diffusion code at the time of generating the signal for supplying power; and a spectrum inverse diffusion portion 207 for applying the inverse spectrum diffusion to the response signal from the tag(s) using the diffusion code. The reader device 101 also includes: a modulation signal generation portion for generating a modulation signal of a desired frequency with respect to the diffusion code; and a mixer portion for mixing the response signal from the tag(s) with the modulation signal generated by the modulation signal generation portion.
