ANTIREFLECTION FILM, POLARIZING PLATE AND IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antireflection film which is excellent in durability (especially in light resistance) and hardly causes appearance change and further which is excellent in adhesion between a supporting body and an antireflection constituting layer and to provide a polarizing plate and an image display apparatus using the antireflection film.

SOLUTION: A transparent supporting body, a hard coat layer and a low refractive index layer having lower refractive index than that of the transparent supporting body are laminated in this order to form the antireflection film. Further another layer may be laminated on any one or more among the three layers. The low refractive index layer contains at least one kind of inorganic particulates. In the antireflection film before and after a light resistance test, hue change of positively reflected light when an incident angle from a CIE standard light source D65is 5°, is 3.0 or less when expressed as color difference ▵E*ab value in CIE1976 L*a*b*color space.
