PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a display part and a key input part interfere with each other and the enlargement of the display part is constrained since the display part and the key input part are arranged side by side on a substrate or a chassis inside the same case body. SOLUTION: The portable communication equipment comprises: the case body 101 housing a circuit board 106 on which an electronic circuit is mounted and the display part 102 electrically connected with the circuit board 106 in the inside; and the key input part 103 which is provided with a switch for generating electric signals corresponding to the pressed one of a plurality of buttons 107, and transmits the electric signals generated by the switch to the circuit board 106 incorporated in the case body 101 through a through-hole 114 passing through the inner side and outer side of the case body, formed in a position where the button and the switch are provided on the external surface of the case body.
