PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for an electronic device having excellent carrier transportation performance, the electronic device equipped with such a substrate for the electronic device and exhibiting excellent characteristics, and an electronic instrument high in reliability. SOLUTION: The substrate 1 for the electronic device is formed with an organic semiconductor layer 5 constituted of an organic semiconductor material having the structure of a conjugated system as a principal material, an electrode 3 containing a metallic atom, and an intermediate layer 4 formed between the organic semiconductor layer 5 and the electrode 3 so as to contact with both of them. The intermediate layer 4 is constituted of the principal constituent of a coordination atom coordinated with the metallic atom and a ligand having the structure of the conjugated system.
