PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a timing failure of heat pump automatic stop caused by an error of a measured time. SOLUTION: The heat pump device is provided with a heat pump h operated by electric power E supplied from an external power source under a condition that power periodically is stopped between set stop time periods X1, X2, a timer 14 for measuring a time, and a controlling means 10 for automatically stopping operation of the heat pump h before starting times Ts1, Ts2 of the set stop time periods X1, X2 based on the measured time of the timer 14. The heat pump device is provided with a power stop detecting means 15 for detecting power stop, and a timer correcting means 16 for correcting time setting of the timer 14 to be in a state that a starting time point of the power stop coincides with a time point for measuring the start times Ts1, Ts2 of the set stop time periods X1, X2 based on power failure detection by the power stop detecting means 15.
