PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pair of socks which is not applicable to a linking line and is intended for solving such problems that the gore line of a heel part appears toward the foot arch part of socks and a ring toe line and the gore line appear on the upper side of a tiptoe part, so when wearing, the ring toe line appears on the tiptoe upper side to damage beautiful sight and also the gore line of the tiptoe part touches the toes to cause bad feeling of wear. SOLUTION: This pair of socks is obtained by knitting a short body part from a rib top of start of knitting, a heel part with a desired long course, a short foot back part and foot sole, a tiptoe foot back side with a desired long course by reciprocal half-turn of a cylinder and decrease of stitches, and a tiptoe foot sole side with a desired long course by reciprocal half-turn of a cylinder and increase of stitches, and stitching an opening formed when finishing knitting the heel part with an opening formed when finishing knitting the tiptoe part so as to show the linking line toward the arch of a foot.
