PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrodeposition coating apparatus which can efficiently coat an article to be coated having a shaft part with an electrodeposition paint. SOLUTION: This electrodeposition coating apparatus comprises: an electrodeposition tank 9 in which an anode for providing a power supply to an electrodeposition coating liquid 7 is arranged, and the article 3 to be coated with the shaft part having an approximately circular section is coated with electrodeposition paint; a transportation conveyer for transporting the article 3, by rolling the shaft part along a liquid level 8 of the electrodeposition coating liquid 7, while making one part of the surface of a region to be coated of the article 3 contact with the electrodeposition coating liquid 7 stored in the electrodeposition tank 9; and a cathode bar 6 which is arranged along the liquid level 8 of the electrodeposition coating liquid 7 and provides the power supply while contacting with the rolling shaft part of the article 3 when being transported.
