PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating tank replacing device capable of replacing a coating tank even in a narrow space extremely simply and rapidly. SOLUTION: In order to replace the coating tank by mounting a new coating tank 3 simultaneously with the detachment of the used coating tank 3 (used), the coating tank replacing device is individually equipped with a tank takeout device 20 for taking an arbitrary coating tank 3 of a stocker 10 housing a large number of coating tanks 3 and a tank recovery device 30 for returning the used coating tank 3 (used) detached from a coating machine 2. In this coating tank replacing device, a tank delivery device 40, which pushes in the new coating tank 3 transferred from the tank in the direction crossing the mounting axis X of the coating machine 2 at a right angle, and a tank receiver 50, which transfers the used coating tank 3 (used) sent out in the direction on the opposite side crossing the mounting axis X at a right angle to the tank recovery, are arranged on both left and right sides of a tank replacing position TCP, where tank replacement is performed with respect to the coating machine 2 so as to be distributed to each other.
