PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic container for which a powder cosmetic is prevented from leaking out or scattering or the like when it is carried by closing a passing hole provided on an inner tray attached inside a container main body at all times when a lid is closed by a puff attached to a lid body in the cosmetic container composed of the container main body housing a cosmetic or the like and the lid body. SOLUTION: In the cosmetic container composed of the container main body for housing contents, the lid body and the puff, the container main body is provided with a container for housing the contents and the inner tray where the passing hole for the contents is perforated. The lid body is provided with a lid main body, a puff support member vertically movably mounted inside the lid main body and an elastic member. When the lid of the container is closed, the lower surface of the puff mounted on the puff support member is abutted to the bottom wall upper surface of the inner tray to close the passing hole by pressurizing force by the elastic member.
