SYSTEM AND METHOD OF TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT OVER MIXED NETWORKS

<p>A method and apparatus is provided of handling modified packets containing additional information regarding source and data type for efficient processing within a mixed network. Incoming and outgoing packets are sent via a dynamic protocol which adapts to circumstances, including the type of network being used, the type of packet being transmitted and the network guidelines.</p>
