<p>A vehicle air conditioner is capable of easily coping with a change in air conditioning capacity. Also, even when some of air conditioner units fail, the vehicle air conditioner is capable of appropriately air conditioning a vehicle interior space by using another air conditioner unit. The vehicle air conditioner has a control device (20), at least one heater (5) and/or at least one cooler (6), and a drive control device. The control device (20) calculates the total amount of heat supplied based on a target temperature and on an actual room temperature, and also it sets the amount of heat produced at the heater (5) and/or the cooler (6) of each air conditioner unit (30) based on the calculated total amount of heat supplied and on the number of air conditioner units (30) used. The drive control device controls operation of the heater (5) and/or the cooler (6) based on the set amount of heat produced.</p> |
