<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means of improving power generating performance and/or durability of an MEA of PEFC by restraining generation of crack in a catalyst layer and/or damages to a solid polymer electrolyte film at transfer. <P>SOLUTION: In at least either the gas diffusion electrodes of a film electrode assembly, made by arranging a pair of gas diffusion electrodes 150a, 150c including electrode catalyst layers 120a, 120c or gas diffusion layers 140a 140c on either side of the solid polymer electrolyte film 110, conductive reinforcing layers 130a, 130c are intercalated between the electrode catalyst layers and the gas diffusion layers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
