<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for a color filter which allows production of a color filter having high lightness and a wide color reproduction range and excellent also in color reproducibility when used as a photoresist composition. <P>SOLUTION: The composition contains a coloring material, a dispersant and an auxiliary dispersant, wherein the dispersant is a colorless high molecular compound having at least one of an acidic group, a basic group and a quaternary ammonium salt group, and the auxiliary dispersant is at least one of a colorless polycyclic aromatic compound and a colorless polycyclic heterocyclic compound having an acidic group or a basic group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
