PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor used in an FED, etc., improving its emitted light luminance and suppressing the deterioration of the luminance to improve its life of use. SOLUTION: This blue color light-emitting phosphor for the displaying device consists mainly of a cubic system zinc sulfide phosphor using Ag and Al as activating agents, and has layers containing each of Si and K on their surfaces. The green color light-emitting phosphor for the displaying device consists mainly of a cubic system zinc sulfide phosphor using Cu and Al as activating agents, and has layers containing each of Si and K on their surfaces. The ratio of content of Si based on the phosphor is desirably made as 0.005-0.1 wt.%. And also the weight ratio of Si/K is desirably 1.0-2.5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
