PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition showing good transparency, heat-resistant transparency, water-vapor barrier property and methanol barrier property even after allowed to stand for a long period of time under the environment of high temperature and high humidity, and to provide a molding consisting of the resin composition. SOLUTION: The resin composition is obtained by kneading with twin screws 100 pts.wt. of a polymer containing an alicyclic structure and containing a polar group, which is obtained by subjecting a hydrogenated product of a ring-opening polymer of 8-ethylidene-tetracyclo[4.4.0.1<SP>2,5</SP>. 1<SP>7,10</SP>]dodeca-3-ene to a modification reaction with butyl glycidyl ether, and 1-15 pts.wt. of a potassium salt (KMg<SB>2.5</SB>(Si<SB>2</SB>O<SB>5</SB>)<SB>2</SB>F<SB>2</SB>) of a fluorinated tetrasilicic mica that is a fluorine phyllosilicate not having an organic group.
