<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material with excellent water resistance, anti-sticking properties, anti-texture fog properties and heat-resistant image stability. <P>SOLUTION: This thermal recording material has a thermal color developing layer which develops a color by heat, and at least one layer, among the other constituent layers of the thermal recording material, which comprises an acrylic polymer chain part and a urethane polymer chain part. Further, the acrylic polymer chain part and the urethane polymer chain part contain an acrylic-silicone urethane terpolymer, bonded through a silicone polymer chain part. In addition, the thermal color developing layer is constitutionally formed on a support and the acrylic-silicone urethane terpolymer is preferably added to at least, the top layer of the thermal color developing layer among the other constituent layers of the thermal recording material.
