<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer with an ink producing means which prevents its abnormal operation due to a difference (tilt) between an actual position and a regular position of a printer from occurring, as a printer which produces a liquid ink from a drain of a fuel cell and an ink material with the use of the fuel cell as a power supply. <P>SOLUTION: The drain from the fuel cell 21 is supplied to an ink liquefaction tank 24 with the help of a pump 22, and the liquid ink is produced from the drain and the ink material and supplied to an ink tank 26 for a head 27 using a pump 25. A position difference sensor 36 detects the position difference of the printer. A control unit 32 determines by the detected position difference whether there are the possibilities of generating an abnormal operation of an ink producing system, and controls so as to stop the pumps 22 and 25 and suspend the ink producing operation, in the case the ink producing system is operating to produce the ink, according to an affirmative judgement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
