<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light transmission system which enables a user to acquire information surely without using user's hands. <P>SOLUTION: The receiving set 1 is composed of a light receiving unit 10, a main body 20, and an audio output unit 30. The light receiving unit 10 is equipped with a photoelectric conversion unit 11 that is provided with a photoelectric conversion element, such as a photodiode, a solar cell, etc., to convert the received illuminating light to electric signals. That is, the receiving set 1 is separated into the light receiving unit 10, the main body unit 20, and the audio output unit 30.
