<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape for taping comprising a strip which adheres credibly to the body and is expandable in an arbitrary shape in accordance with the shape of the affected area or a part where the tape adheres. <P>SOLUTION: The tape has an elastic substrate 12, an adhesive layer attached to one face of the substrate 12, and a plurality of slits 14 extending parallel along one direction on the inside of the substrate. Both side edges 12a and 12b of the substrate 12 located in the vicinity of the ends of the slits 14 extend obliquely and inwards from the vicinity of the ends of the slits 14 toward end sections 12c and 12d of the substrate 12 located on the extension of the slits 14.
