<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing method for improving mixture of gas into a vibrator and a vessel of an oscillator generated in the sealing process of the air-tight sealing process of the piezoelectric component such as a crystal-controlled vibrator and a crystal-controlled oscillator. <P>SOLUTION: The sealing method of piezoelectric component comprises the steps of accommodating a piezoelectric raw material into a vessel having a recessed aperture and tightly sealing the air with a cover. In this sealing method, the recessed aperture of the vessel is directed to the direction in which a gravity is applied after the piezoelectric raw material is accommodated into the vessel and mounted and fixed therein, the cover is allocated in the position opposing to the recessed aperture, and the cover is placed in contact with the recessed aperture of the vessel and heated to constitute a hermetically sealed vessel.
