PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin and light-weight hologram medium cartridge having higher practicality. SOLUTION: A hologram housing recess 22a is disposed in a cartridge case 2 to house a hologram 3, the hologram 3 is housed in the recess 22a, and the surface of the hologram 3 housed in the recess 22a is covered with a translucent substrate 4. As compared with a case where a hologram 3 is held between two substrates 4 to be housed in a cartridge case 2, the hologram cartridge can be made thin and light-weight by an amount corresponding to one substrate.
