PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake evacuation guidance pole used for instantaneously issuing a warning upon occurrence of an earthquake and for guiding evacuation by sound and illumination even in the night. SOLUTION: This earthquake evacuation guidance pole is so structured that a spherical body 2 is suspended in the pole 1; the spherical body 2 is laterally vibrated by an earthquake and contacts a cable cover 3, whereby electricity is conducted, a switch is turned on and an illumination lamp 4 and a rotating lamp 5 are lit; and sound is generated from a speaker 6. Thereby, an earthquake can surely be detected with a simple structure and evacuation can be guided by the sound and the illumination. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
