PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document control server capable of distributing an electronic mail. SOLUTION: This document control server is provided with a control information storage part 114 for storing correlatedly user identification information and user discrimination information, the user identification information of a mail distribution requesting person, a mail distribution request and an address in a mail transmission destination are input from a terminal device, the user identification information correlated with authentication information of the mail distribution requesting person is acquired from the control information storage part 114, the input address in the transmission destination is set as a destination address, a mail address of the document control server is set as a transmission source address, the user discrimination information is inserted into a mail text, and the mail is prepared thereby to be transmitted. The user discrimination information is different from a user ID used in user authentication or the like, and is a name of a user, a name, a nickname, a handle name, a face image, a silhouette image, or the like.
