PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoprocessing system in which the sure assorting processing of photographic prints in the unit of number of sheets corresponding to the number of sorting columns is made possible regardless of whether the photographic prints being the same in the length in a conveyance direction are processed or whether the photoprocessing is performed by mingling the photographic prints varying in the lengths in the conveyance direction and therefore, the high efficiency (production efficiency of the photographic prints) can be realized. SOLUTION: The method for controlling sorting of photosensitive materials that eventually succeed in the column of the first place of the sorting rank is varied by assorting the photosensitive materials to the case where the rear ends of the photosensitive materials in column of the first place of the sorting rank are located nearer on an upstream side in the conveyance direction than the rear ends of the photosensitive materials in the columns other than the same.
