PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pot for growing a seedling which has a good stability for preventing its falling down even if a display plate is fixed at the pot for growing the seedling. SOLUTION: This pot for growing the seedling which is made from a flexible resin and has a bottom part and side wall part is equipped with a multiple number of recessed wall parts recessed toward an inside space side from the outside surface of the side wall at parts at parts of the side wall, and having a prescribed interval from the upper edge part of the side wall and a slit for inserting the display plate displaying information on the seedling housed in the pot for growing the seedling, which is housed at the inside space, at the upper end part facing an opened surface of each of the recessed wall parts, and a tongue piece for regulating that the lower part of the display plate leaves from the outside surface of the side wall part is provided on the lower side of the upper end of the recessed wall parts.
