PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for examining an agrochemical by which agrochemical ingredients can be specified with high accuracy and the concentration thereof can be displayed and to provide an apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: An operation means 3 is provided with the following. A storing means (18) for pre-storing the plurality of agrochemical ingredients related to information about places of production of the sample and storing a plurality of calibration curves related to the inhibitory ability of enzyme activity of each enzyme for each of the plurality of agricultural ingredients and an operation part (19) for adapting concentrations of substances detected with a detecting means (10) to the plurality of calibration curves on the basis of readout of the plurality of agrochemical ingredients and calibration curves, computing converted concentrations and further judging that the agrochemical ingredients corresponding to the calibration curves are residual agrochemicals when there are substances having coincident converted concentrations in the plurality of calibration curves.
