<p>A solvent composition characterized by comprising a tetralin compound (a) represented by the following general formula (I) and a polyether compound (b) represented by the following general formula (II). This solvent composition is highly safe and almost odorless. It highly dissolves various organic materials and has excellent affinity for various substrates. It is suitable for use in various applications such as various paints, various adhesives, various coating materials, and various detergents.
