Methods and apparatus are disclosed for the passive filtration, humidification and possible scenting of the air inside a room or building by means of a short heat resistant, injection moulded plastic hood with wider skirting fitted with a filter, clipped or seated on top of a water heated radiator. Thereby removing dust, smoke, airborne grease, pollens, fine particles, other solid airborne particles and, in the case activated carbon is incorporated in the filter, some noxious gases as the heated air rises through the hood.
