Buccal insert (2), connected e.g. by a tube (3) to a pouch (31) of a fluid (F), is designed to occupy a sufficient volume of the buccal cavity when at rest to resist a determined effort to extract it when the mouth is not voluntarily opened. Its upper surface (23) is shaped to match that of the palate, and it has a ridge (22) at the front to press against the inside of the teeth of the gum of at least one jaw. Fluid from the pouch enters the mouth through holes (20) in the back of the insert.
|
