u The compensator (30) has a pot shaped body (32) with a pot base (34) and a recess. A piston (36) provided at an axially extending guide (41) of the piston has a clearance fit of the recess with the guide axially mobile in the recess of the body. A sealing element (44) is arranged on the base, being on the side of the guide. The sealing element couples the body with the piston. The body, the piston and the sealing element are hydraulically and or pneumatically provided as a closed system where the coupling of the sealing element with the body and or the piston is actuated. An independent claim is included for an injection valve.
