Provided are a method for preparing an antistatic hard coating brightness improving optical device, and an antistatic hard coating optical device prepared by the method which is prevented in the breakage of liquid crystal due to the adhesion of impurities and is improved in scratch resistance. The method comprises the steps of spin coating a solution comprising 100 parts by weight of an antistatic hard coating composition comprising 0.5-30 wt% of an antistatic agent, 0.1-15 wt% of a curing agent, 0.1-3 wt% of a leveling agent and 0.1-15 wt% of a UV absorber and 20-110 parts by weight of a dispersant on a brightness improving film of an optical device under the condition of a rotation velocity of 10-5,000 rpm and a rotation time of 1-500 sec; drying an antistatic hard coating layer by rotating with 20-5,000 rpm at 15-85 deg.C; and curing it with UV rays of 5-40 mL and a rotation velocity of 10-3,000 rpm.
